Your choices

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, pages viewed and broad traffic sources so we can improve this website. Optional analytics is off until you choose Accept analytics. Only necessary and closing the first prompt leave analytics off. You can use the whole website if you refuse, and change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings.

Storage on your device

When you save a choice, this website stores site-cookie-consent in your browser’s local storage. It contains your choice, its version and time, with no visitor ID. The choice expires after 180 days and is not sent to an analytics service. This necessary storage remembers and respects your choice.

ijskoorts-language remembers a language you select until you clear browser storage. The automatic homepage uses a country code from our hosting service to choose a suitable language. The website does not itself retain the corresponding IP address.

Optional Google Analytics

Provider: Google Ireland Limited. After consent, Google Analytics uses first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies with a pseudonymous browser identifier. We limit these cookies to 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit. We send page paths and the referring site’s origin, without URL query strings or fragments. We do not send names, email addresses, form contents or calculator inputs. Advertising personalisation, Google signals, granular location/device collection and automatic enhanced measurement are disabled.

This property is configured for 2-month retention of user-level and event-level data. The user-data retention period is not renewed by new activity. This limit does not cover standard aggregated reports. Withdrawing consent stops further collection and removes Analytics cookies from this website; it does not automatically erase information already received by Google.

Google may process data outside the EEA and the United Kingdom, including in the United States. See Google’s international transfer safeguards and Google Analytics data protection information. Your consent is the basis for this optional measurement. Withdrawal does not affect earlier processing based on consent.

Hosting and contact

To deliver pages, the hosting service receives technical data such as your IP address, requested address and browser information. This website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare. This is separate from optional visitor analytics.

The Instrument Serif and Karla typefaces are served from our own website. Loading these typefaces does not connect your browser to Google Fonts.

Email buttons open your own email application. The operator receives your message and contact details only when you send it. We use them to handle your enquiry or request.

Newsletter and frost alerts

When you sign up, we store your email address and, if you provide them, your region and skating club in an IJskoorts Google Sheet. The page language and signup location are also sent. We use these signup details only for the newsletter. Signups are handled through Google Apps Script; the confirmation email is sent from info@ijskoorts.nl. Your subscription is only complete after you click the confirmation link in that email. You can unsubscribe using the link in every email.

Changing your choice and your rights

You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings. Clearing browser storage also removes your saved choice. To request access, correction or deletion, or ask a privacy question, contact info@ijskoorts.nl. You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
